Former Justice Department lawyer Jeffrey Clark, who was part of President Donald Trump’s effort to overturn the 2020 election, has joined a right-leaning watchdog group.
Clark, who is facing disciplinary proceedings, will serve as vice president of litigation for the Oversight Project, which frequently files Freedom of Information Act cases and has touted court wins such as forcing the release of President Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur.
