Trump AG Pick Bondi Discloses $3 Million in Truth Social Stock

Trump’s attorney general selection Pam Bondi is worth $12.2 million, nearly $3 million of which is held in Trump Media shares she received after the Truth Social parent company went public last year, financial disclosures obtained by Bloomberg Law show.

After a long career in public service, Bondi appeared to accumulate much of her wealth once she entered the private sector in 2019, including for several Trump-associated ventures. She is likely to be confirmed as the Justice Department’s top official, following a Senate hearing on Wednesday in which Democrats raised repeated concerns about her loyalty to the president-elect.

Over the past year, Bondi received $1.1 million as a lobbyist with Ballard Partners—headed by senior Trump fundraiser Brian Ballard—and $520,000 with America First Policy Institute, a policy think tank also closely linked to Trump, her disclosures submitted to the Office of Government Ethics show. She filed them as required as part of the Senate confirmation process.

Trump Media Technology Group’s social media company made its Wall Street debut last year through a SPAC merger, leading her to receive stock with a disclosed value of just under $3 million and warrants, or rights to purchase shares in the future, as compensation for consulting services, the document said. A separately filed net worth statement showed that as of last December, the combined securities had a value of just over $3.9 million.

Further, Bondi made $203,738 in 2024 as as a lawyer with Ballard-affiliated firm Panza, Maurer & Maynard, where her clients included Pfizer.

In addition to the $12.2 million in net worth, which is shared with her husband, she disclosed $1.7 million in liabilities. The liabilities consists of $1.5 million in real estate mortgages and $200,000 in notes payable to relatives.

Once confirmed, she would be expected to separate from conflicts of interests tied to her representations before serving as the nation’s law enforcement official.
