Trump 2020 Electors Face New Charges While Others Settle Claims

Six Nevadans who signed a document falsely certifying former President Donald Trump as the winner of the state’s electoral votes in the 2020 presidential contest have been indicted by a grand jury.

The group of pro-Trump electors face two felony counts for offering a false record and forgery. The state criminal case marks the latest fallout for allies of the former president who had backed his efforts to overturn President Joe Biden’s win. Trump is not a defendant in the Nevada case.
