Troutman Pepper Adds Ex-Medallion GC Degeyter to Energy Team

Brock Degeyter joined Troutman Pepper Locke as a partner in its energy transactional practice group in Dallas, the firm announced Monday.

Degeyter brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, most recently serving as general counsel, chief compliance officer, and secretary at Medallion Midstream until its acquisition by ONEOK Inc. He provided legal counsel on Medallion’s operational and corporate development initiatives and developed and managed compliance programs addressing regulatory requirements from FERC, OSHA, PHMSA, DOT, EPA, and various state and municipal regulations, the firm said.
