James Beers has joined Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders as a partner with the environmental and natural resources practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Tuesday.
Beers, who previously practiced with Preti Flaherty, has experience with environmental law, particularly in environmental litigation, regulatory counseling, permitting, and remediation, according to Troutman Pepper.
He served as part of the environmental enforcement section of the US Justice Department, Troutman Pepper said.
