Tropical Beach Holiday Was Workplace, Ex-Proskauer COO Says

A former Proskauer Rose LLP executive accused of stealing business secrets from the prominent New York-based law firm said he was just bringing the materials to work on transition issues, while vacationing on a remote tropical island in the Indian Ocean.

Jonathan O’Brien said he gave notice that he planned to resign as Proskauer’s chief operating officer on December 20, a day before getting on a plane for a long-planned vacation with his wife in Mauritius.
