TransPerfect, Skadden Pointed Back to Mediation Table, Again (1)

The Delaware chancellor overseeing the bitter excessive fees litigation around TransPerfect Global Inc.'s forced sale strongly encouraged Monday that the parties see a mediator to tie up loose ends.

The letter to counsel follows “a barrage of letters that have no apparent relevance to any motion pending to the court,” Chancellor Andre G. Bouchard said. The correspondence did, however, reveal that the parties are interested in mediation to resolve lingering issues, he said.

“The court has encouraged, and at time even ordered, the parties to use mediation in these actions on several different occasions, and does so again,” Bouchard ...
