Goldstein Retires from High Court Bar After Reinventing Path (1)

Veteran Supreme Court litigator Thomas Goldstein is retiring after 25 years arguing cases before the high court and co-founding the SCOTUSblog website.

Goldstein, who has argued 45 Supreme Court cases, said he’s always been interested in business and entrepreneurship, and is ready to try something new while he still has the energy.

“I’m taking a little bit of a break, but mostly I’m interested in finding business opportunities to work with companies, do stuff on the business side rather than just the legal side,” he said in an interview Wednesday. “Exactly what it will be, I don’t know.”
