Three Firms on Vector’s Buy of Apollo-backed Riverbed Technology

Paul Hastings is advising private equity firm Vector Capital on its acquisition of Riverbed Technology Inc., a provider of enterprise information technology that filed for bankruptcy during the pandemic.

Riverbed’s existing lenders will continue to support the San Francisco-based company by providing it with a new credit facility at closing, according to a statement.

White & Case LLP is advising Riverbed. Davis Polk & Wardwell is counseling a steering committee of Riverbed’s lenders, the statement said.
