Milbank and Covington & Burling are advising Veritas Capital and Guidehouse on the latter’s acquisition of Dovel Technologies, which provides technology services to federal government agencies.

Cooley advised McClean, Va.-based Dovel on the transaction, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter and for which terms were not disclosed. The seller is Australia-based Macquarie Capital, which bought a majority stake in Dovel in 2019, according to a statement.

Guidehouse, also based in McLean, is a management, technology and consulting company owned by Veritas. Dovel will expand the Guidehouse’s capabilities in the health, human services, and public safety markets, the company said in a statement.

“With complementary strengths in Guidehouse’s focus areas, together we will be well positioned to continue delivering innovative solutions to tackle some of the most complex challenges facing government and commercial clients,” Guidehouse CEO Scott McIntyre said.
