Thomson Reuters Ex-Worker Claims Retaliation Over ICE Letter

A former Thomson Reuters Corp. editor in a lawsuit Tuesday accused the tech and media conglomerate of firing her for reporting her belief that its products were being used to give personal and location data to federal immigration authorities.

The former senior attorney editor was investigated and fired following media reports on a mass employee open letter asking Thomson Reuters not to renew a contract with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said Billie Little’s lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the District of Oregon.
