Karen Firstenberg joined Thompson Hine as a partner in its product liability and toxic tort practice in Los Angeles, the firm announced today.

Firstenberg provides strategic counsel to life sciences companies on product liability, toxic tort, and compliance matters. She represents pharmaceutical, biotech, materials science, and medical device manufacturers, including Fortune 500 and 300 companies, and has led nationwide mass tort drug and device litigation in state and federal courts, the firm said.

She joins from Venable.
