The suit advances 10 counts of deceptive trade practice violations and seeks more than $1 million in penalties and fees, according to the suit filed in state court and announced by Paxton.
“TikTok actively worked to deceive parents and lure children onto their app despite the presence of an overwhelming amount of profane and illicit material,” Paxton said in a statement.
