Texas Probes Bar Foundation Over Illegal Immigration Claims (1)

The Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) has launched an investigation into the Texas Bar Foundation based on allegations that it has aided “the mass influx of illegal aliens,” the office announced Friday.

Paxton said the probe is based on “credible complaints” by Rep. Troy E. Nehls (R) and members of the general public. The Texas Bar Foundation hails itself as the largest “charitably funded bar foundation in the nation,” with only “the most elite Texas attorneys” as members.
