Qatalyst Partners LP, a boutique investment bank that has aided some of the largest technology deals in recent years, has landed Latham & Watkins partner Hilary Mattis to be its new general counsel.
Mattis, a litigator who last year made partner at Latham, succeeds Ross Weiner, a former partner and longtime general counsel at Qatalyst.
Weiner wrote in a LinkedIn update that he’s embarked on “a new adventure” as chief administrative officer and general counsel for Explorer Acquisitions.
