Taylor Morrison’s Chief Legal Officer Darrell Sherman to Retire

Darrell Sherman, executive vice president, chief legal officer, and secretary of Taylor Morrison Home Corp., will retire effective May 31, the company announced Friday.

Sherman served in the role for almost 16 years and will be retiring to serve as a mission president for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the company said.

Todd Merrill, currently vice president and general counsel of operations, will succeed Sherman effective June 1. Merrill has been a member of the company’s legal team since 2004.
