Target Facing Patent Suit on Several Spin Master ‘Air Hogs’ Toys

Target Corp. was hit with a lawsuit in which a Florida-based company is seeking profits lost to Target’s sales of Spin Master-branded aeronautical vehicles that have self-righting frames, including the Air Hogs Star Wars X-Wing v. Death Star remote-controlled drone.

Advanced Aerodynamics LLC’s complaint, filed Feb. 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, alleges infringement of five patents and also targets Spin Master’s Air Hogs Atmosphere Axis and its Air Hogs Supernova.
