Susman Godfrey, Longford Sued Over $37 Million Arbitration Award

An Irish patent monetization firm is suing Susman Godfrey and litigation funder Longford Capital in Houston to vacate an over $37 million arbitration award.

Arigna Technology Limited filed suit on Thursday in the District Court of Harris County asking the court to vacate an arbitration award and alleged the arbitrators arrived at the award by corruption and fraud. Arigna hired Susman in August 2020 to enforce patents and Susman obtained funding from Longford for the litigation.
