Supreme Advocacy: What It Takes to Argue at the Supreme Court is a Bloomberg Law documentary film that takes viewers inside the rarefied world of the Supreme Court—offering an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to argue before the nation’s highest court. The film follows a veteran Supreme Court advocate (Roman Martinez of Latham & Watkins) as he fights on behalf of a girl with a disability, arguing that her education rights were denied.
Featuring insights from former Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar, legal journalist Nina Totenberg, and other leading voices in the legal world, Supreme Advocacy reveals the strategy, pressure, and human drama behind the decisions that define American law. The film is produced by the Emmy Award winning team of Josh Block and Andrew Satter.
The film will premiere at a live screening in December. Television airings and online release details to be announced soon—please check back for updates!
