Sullivan & Cromwell Names Giuffra, Miller as Vice Chairs

Sullivan & Cromwell has selected Robert J. Giuffra Jr., a firm litigator, and Scott D. Miller, a corporate attorney, as vice chairs, bolstering its leadership with two veterans of the practice.

Giuffra, who has been with the firm since 1989, was lead counsel for Volkswagen AG in class actions and government investigations over diesel emissions.

Miller, who joined Sullivan & Cromwell in 1986, represents Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV in its $50 billion merger with PSA Group set for completion this month and was principal outside counsel to Fiat for nearly two decades. He coordinates the firm’s U.S. and European corporate ...
