Kyle Mach joined Sullivan & Cromwell as a partner in Palo Alto, Calif., the firm announced Tuesday.
Mach joins from the Federal Trade Commission, where he served as deputy director of the Bureau of Competition.
At the FTC, Mach oversaw three of the four sections of the Bureau of Competition that evaluates mergers and acquisitions. Mach and his teams reviewed transactions representing billions of dollars in value, litigated several merger challenges, and negotiated consent decrees.
