Substack Snags New General Counsel Amid Expanding Ambitions

Substack Inc., a digital media platform that is branching into alternative forms of news and entertainment, has hired Adam Inglis to fill a general counsel position that has been vacant for a few years.

Inglis, who spent almost a decade working for software company SurveyMonkey Inc., recently took to LinkedIn to announce his new role as Substack’s top lawyer. He comes to the company from OneTrust LLC, a privacy and security software provider that recruited him a year ago from WorkBoard Inc., another software startup where Inglis spent three years as general counsel.
