Ben Saul has joined Steptoe as a financial services partner with the government affairs and public policy practices in Washington, DC, the firm said Thursday.
Saul has experience working with clients on matters involving the CFPB, DOJ, OCC, FRB, FDIC, FTC, HUD, state financial services authorities, and state attorneys general, according to Steptoe.
He also provides advice on risk identification and mitigation as well as obtaining necessary regulatory approvals for financial services and FinTech mergers and acquisitions to private equity funds, venture capital funds, and hedge funds, Steptoe said.
