Squire Patton Boggs Hires Two Partners in DC Office From Rivals

Cedric Powell and Lauren Briggerman joined Squire Patton Boggs as partners, the firm announced Tuesday. Powell joined the global corporate practice in Washington, DC, while Briggerman joined the global antitrust & competition practice in DC.

Powell advises sponsors and their portfolio companies, C-suite executives, and founders through complex buy-side and sell-side transactions. His practice focuses on private equity and middle-market M&A, spanning industries including aerospace, defense, government services, industrial manufacturing, food and beverage, retail, technology, chemical distribution, consumer goods, third party logistics, and life sciences, the firm said.
