Squire Patton Boggs Hires Dentons Partner Bastian in Frankfurt

Robert Bastian joined Squire Patton Boggs as a partner in its global corporate practice group in Frankfurt, the firm announced Monday.

Bastian focuses on private equity as well as general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, and works with German and US funds on a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions. His corporate clients include major German and European companies in sectors as diverse as technology, energy, engineering and cosmetics, and he advises on capital markets matters, including public takeovers, IPOs and de-listings, the firm said.

He joins from Dentons.
