Darien Flowers has joined Squire Patton Boggs as part of the global public policy practice, the firm said Tuesday.
Flowers served as deputy policy director at the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, as lead on the Tourism, Trade, and Export Promotion and Security Subcommittees, and as a senior advisor to the under secretary of transportation for policy at the US Department of Transportation, according to Squire Patton Boggs.
He also held the role of head of government relations at Flexport, a venture backed global supply chain and logistics technology company, and he served on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs for then-subcommittee ranking member Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) as well as in the personal office of Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Squire Patton Boggs said.
