Squire Patton Boggs Adds Ex-Uber Director McGovern as Partner

Bridget McGovern has joined Squire Patton Boggs as a partner in its public policy practice in the Washington, D.C., office, the firm said Tuesday.

McGovern will focus on national security and trade matters, including foreign investment security reviews, emerging technology and sensitive data, outbound investment, supply chains, and trade matters, according to Squire Patton Boggs.

She previously served at the US Department of Homeland Security as assistant secretary for trade and economic security. She also served as the director for public policy, payments, at Uber Technologies.
