Loren Ponds joined Skadden as a partner in its tax group in Washington, the firm announced Monday.

Ponds provides strategic counsel to clients across legislative, regulatory, and other tax policy issues, as well as on technical matters related to international tax, including controversy and transfer pricing issues, the firm said.
