Skadden, Kirkland Guide Mars’ $36B Acquisition of Kellanova (1)

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom guided Mars Inc. and Kirkland & Ellis guided Kellanova in Mars’ $36 billion acquisition of the Pringles chips and Cheez-Its maker. The deal is the largest transaction of the year.

The deal extends Skadden’s lead in the Bloomberg League Tables. Its team includes M&A partners Howard Ellin, Neil Stronski and June Dipchand; tax partner Cliff Gross; antitrust partners Clifford Aronson, Michael Sheerin and Frederic Depoortere; executive compensation and benefits partner Joseph Penko and counsel Young Park; and intellectual property and technology partner Bruce Goldner.
