A Michigan township’s general counsel lost an appeal over a claim that his firing violated his federal due process rights because he was let go without “an opportunity to be heard.”
Thomas Esordi, who worked for Macomb Township, Michigan as its general counsel and human resources director, sued the township and board officers Janet I. Dunn and Kristi L. Pozzi after the board terminated his employment in April of 2023.
