Sirius XM Hires Third Legal Chief In One Year With Spotify Vet

Sirius XM Holdings Inc. announced Thursday its hire of Eve Konstan to be its new chief legal officer, succeeding Richard Baer, who joined the satellite radio giant last year as general counsel.

Konstan, 57, will receive $1 million in annual base salary and at least $5 million in equity awards when she joins the New York-based company in early February, according to a securities filing by Sirius. Her move comes a year after Konstan stepped down as the top lawyer for podcasting and audio media company Spotify Technology SA, which looked within for her successor as legal chief.
