Two prominent law firms advised on Blackstone Inc.'s $10 billion deal to acquire a high-end apartment landlord.
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett represented Blackstone in the transaction with Apartment Income REIT, known as AIR Communities, the firm said Monday. Lawyers at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom advised AIR Communities, according to the firm.
The deal follows Blackstone’s $3.5 billion agreement to take landlord Tricon private, announced in January.
