Simpson Thacher Recruits David Hernand as Los Angeles Partner

David Hernand has joined Simpson Thacher as a partner in Los Angeles, the firm said Monday.

Hernand, who joins from Paul Hastings, is a mergers and acquisitions attorney focused on the media, entertainment, and technology industries, according to Simpson Thacher.

He has advised companies, boards of directors and special committees, private equity and venture capital firms, and high net worth individuals and families, Simpson Thacher said.
