Marisa Geiger has joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as an intellectual property/privacy and cybersecurity partner in the New York office, the firm said Tuesday.
Geiger advises clients on the IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs, and minority investments and spin-offs, said Simpson Thacher. She joins from Paul Weiss, where she worked in a counsel role.
Geiger also has experience in structuring and negotiating standalone IP transactions, according to the firm.
