Simpson Thacher Hires Funds Partners for New Luxembourg Office

Jean-Christian Six, Paul Van den Abeele, and Yannick Arbaut joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as partners in its European funds practice in its new Luxembourg office, the firm announced Nov. 27.

Six advises on the formation of unregulated and regulated funds for institutional and non-institutional investors, the firm said.

Van den Abeele advises financial institutions, investment firms, and asset managers on the structuring, implementation, management, and servicing of funds, with an emphasis on private equity, real estate, and credit strategies, the firm said.
