A pair of Sidley Austin leveraged finance partners has left for Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s London office.
Bryan Robson and William Gwyn’s jump to Simpson, announced Wednesday, caps a year of mixed results on the lateral hiring market for the New York-founded law firm. Simpson saw private credit and restructuring leaders leave for Latham & Watkins and Weil Gotshal & Manges this year, while picking up new hires from Kirkland & Ellis and Weil, among others.
Robson and Gwyn advise lenders and borrowers in syndicated and bilateral credit deals.
