Simpson Thacher Adds Risell to Investment Funds Practice in DC

Adam Z. Risell has joined the investment funds practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in Washington, DC, the firm said Monday.

Risell, who joins from Cadwalader, advises asset managers and sponsors in connection with capital raising activities using structured finance technology, according to Simpson Thacher.

He also provides guidance on the development and distribution of collateralized loan obligation captive funds, collateralized fund obligations, and other similarly specialized funds as well as structured financing techniques for business development companies and other registered funds, Simpson Thacher said.
