Leah Malone has joined Simpson Thacher as a partner in the New York office, where she will lead the environmental, social and governance and sustainability practice, the firm said Tuesday.
Malone advises boards, management teams and investors on ESG and sustainability matters, specializing in issues involving shareholder engagement, shareholder activism, board effectiveness, board composition, and DE&I and other employee initiatives, according to Simpson Thacher.
She was a managing director in the Governance Insights Center at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has also practiced at Cleary Gottlieb, the firm said.
