Jana Hymowitz joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as a partner in its executive compensation and employee benefits practice in New York, the firm announced Tuesday.

Hymowitz advises companies, boards of directors, executives, and investors on transaction-related compensation and benefits matters, with a focus on issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, as well as initial public offerings and other capital markets transactions. She advises clients on the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of executive employment and incentive compensation arrangements, as well as in related public company disclosures and other corporate governance matters.
