Sidley Recruits Williams, Smith to Litigation Practice Group

Gregory Williams and Richard Smith have joined Sidley Austin as partners in the litigation practice group in Washington, DC, the firm said Tuesday.

Williams, who will serve as a co-leader of the global arbitration, trade, and advocacy practice, serves as lead counsel for companies in the defense, aerospace, real estate, technology, and financial sectors in commercial arbitration and investor-state disputes, according to Sidley.

Smith has commercial litigation experience covering environmental, healthcare, intellectual property, antitrust, product liability, and complex litigation, Sidley said.
