Sumita Ahuja joined Sidley as a partner in its global finance practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Ahuja’s practice focuses on representing lead banks, financial institutions, agents, and borrowers across domestic and cross-border financing transactions. She advises on syndicated and direct lending transactions, as well as secured and mezzanine financings, acquisition and bridge financings, refinancing facilities, and other capital solutions, the firm said.
She joins from Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
