Sidley Hires David Monteiro, Kristin Lee as Banking Partners

David Monteiro and Kristin Lee joined Sidley Austin as partners in its banking and financial services practice within the M&A and private equity group in Dallas and New York respectively, the firm announced Monday.

Monteiro advises financial services companies on consumer protection issues and represents them in investigations and enforcement actions before regulators. His practice focuses on mitigating risks under consumer protection laws and conducting internal investigations, the firm said.
