Sidley Austin is hiring the global co-leader of Akin Gump’s antitrust practice, expanding their team in an area that has thrived during President Joe Biden’s administration.
Corey Roush was on the Akin team that represented 7-Eleven Inc. in a $21 billion acquisition of the Speedway gas station chain from Marathon Petroleum in 2021. He also represented the convenience store chain in its $1 billion acquisition of 204 stores from Sunoco LP in January.
