Vadim Brusser has joined Sidley Austin as a partner in the antitrust practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.
Brusser, who joins from Weil Gotshal & Manges, focuses on merger clearance work for the firm’s private equity practice as well as corporate clients, according to Sidley.
He has also worked as a lawyer at the Federal Trade Commission, litigating federal antitrust enforcement actions and investigating mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing agreements, and business practices for federal antitrust violations, Sidley said.
