Sidley adds a new partner, Daniel Elefant, to the mergers and acquisitions and private equity practice in San Francisco, the law firm said in a statement Tuesday.
Elefant previously served as the director at SoftBank Investment Advisers, where he was the in-house counsel for the company’s vision funds, the firm said.
He has experience in representing technology and life sciences companies as well as advising clients on sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions transactions, Sidley said.
