James MacArthur has joined Sidley Austin in the global energy, transportation, and infrastructure practice in London with Ed Freeman soon to follow, the firm said Thursday.
MacArthur has experience acting for corporate and private equity sponsors on European and global deals in the energy, digital infrastructure, and logistics and transportation sectors, according to Sidley.
Freeman acts for financial sponsors on cross-border acquisitions, disposals, equity investments, and co-investments, said the firm.
The pair join from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, said Sidley.
