Sidley Adds White & Case Partner in Houston to Build Energy Work

Sidley Austin is advancing the build of its energy practice in Houston with the hire of Steven Tredennick from White & Case.

Tredennick advises clients on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance matters, particularly within the oil and gas industry, according to Sidley. He joined White & Case in 2018 from Paul Hastings, where he was the former chair of the corporate practice in Houston.

Sidley “can cover everything that my clients would need in the energy space, regardless of whether or not those transactions are sourced, financed, or exist in the United States,” Tredennick said in an interview.
