Aryeh Kaplan has joined Sidley Austin as a commercial litigation and disputes practice partner in Miami, the firm said Monday.
Kaplan has served as lead trial counsel in more than 30 trials to verdict including prosecuting large consumer class action lawsuits and defending Fortune 100 companies, according to Sidley.
He has experience serving as global coordinating counsel, lead trial counsel, and outside counsel, advising clients including sovereigns, financial institutions, products manufacturers, and individuals within the United States and in foreign jurisdictions, the firm said.
He joins from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
