Sidley Adds Cheveley to M&A, Private Equity Practice in London

Phil Cheveley has joined Sidley Austin as a partner with the M&A and private equity practice in London, the firm said Monday.

Cheveley focuses on public and private M&A and investments, public takeovers, and joint ventures, according to Sidley. He often works with public corporates in the financial services, industrials, energy transition, and infrastructure sectors, Sidley said.

He served as the head of the M&A practice for EMEA and Asia at Shearman & Sterling, according to the firm.
