Jad Sheikali joined Shook, Hardy & Bacon as a partner in its privacy and cybersecurity team in Chicago, the firm announced Wednesday.

Sheikali handles litigation, transactional counseling, and regulatory guidance for clients in the startup, technology, and software spaces, as well as public and private universities, the firm said.
